The President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA, received in audience, on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, His Excellency Mr. Christophe GUILHOU, the outgoing Ambassador of France to Cameroon. The outgoing French Ambassador to Cameroon called for an end to the crisis in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon. "It is time for peace and stability to return to the English-speaking regions (...) This has gone on too long, it is a friend of Cameroon who says so," he said at the Unity Palace. On the eve of his departure from Yaounde, H.E. Christophe GUILHOU met with the President of the Republic, the French diplomat said "Thank you to President Paul BIYA for the long audience today, and thank you to Cameroon for these three years that end tonight. As the Cameroonians say, we are together," he wrote on twitter.
