Training at the African Intelligence and Intelligence Center (Cavie) to equip Cameroonians
The Cavie organizes in Yaoundé since August 28, a training session in economic intelligence and due diligence in Africa. The objective of the training is to transmit to the Cameroonian executives of the public and private sector, methods, tools and good professional practices for more efficiency of their partnership operations. The session is organized in a rather particular context. Indeed, "it is a session organized in the aftermath of the African days of the economic intelligence which took place on August 2nd and 3rd at the Palais des Congrès of Yaoundé. It is also a context marked by 15 years of growth in Africa, 5.5% on average, for the population which is doing well. This creates a breath of fresh air for international investors, "said Guy Gweth, president of Cavie at the opening ceremony. Beforehand, the participants were built on the concepts of economic intelligence and due diligence. On this, "economic intelligence is a legal and secure process of collecting, processing and analyzing information. Economic intelligence is generated and then used to help decision-makers in their dealings with investors, "said Guy Gweth for the first concept. As far as due diligence is concerned, it is aimed more at national and international investors. "It is for them to carry out all the diligences and investigations to ensure the quality and reliability of a product or a partner," he says.
