The city of Yaoundé

This Forum is an annual and regional event for transport infrastructure in French-speaking Africa. This is the first time that the meeting has been held in Cameroon. The 12th edition of the African Infrastructure Forum (FAI) will be held from November 14 to 15, 2019 at the Hilton hotel in Yaoundé. The discussions will revolve around the theme "Transport infrastructure, catalyst for regional emergence". The objective of this meeting is to foster a targeted debate around the main issues related to development models, public and private partnerships, as well as regional integration and the emergence of new infrastructure. Indeed, the African Forum of Infrastructures is an annual and regional event of transport infrastructures in French-speaking Africa. It represents a platform for debate, exchange of experiences and best practices, bringing together more than 400 decision-makers from the infrastructure sector each year. It is for the first time that the FAI is organized in Central Africa and more precisely in Yaoundé. This platform was created in 2008 with the mission of working for the development of efficient road, port and airport infrastructures through platforms for debate, exchange and networking between governments, key players in the public and private sector as well as the entire ecosystem of transport infrastructure.
